How to Reduce the Soil Squeezing Effect on Surrounding Ground During Static Pressure Pipe Pile Construction
Compared with conventional pile driving methods, static pressure pipe pile construction offers advantages such as no noise or vibration, no impact force, and low construction stress, and it allows the pile-sinking resistance to be measured during installation, thereby providing parameters for design and construction. However, static pressure piles are displacement piles, and the soil-squeezing effect they produce can adversely affect the project. Based on actual engineering conditions, this paper flexibly applies various preventive measures against soil-squeezing effects, effectively mitigating the adverse impacts of pile-sinking squeezing stress on the engineering piles themselves and the surrounding environment, providing a reference for similar pile foundation construction in China.
