Relationship and Coordination Between Foundation Pit Construction and Pipe Pile Construction in Soft Soil Foundation Engineering
In soft soil foundation engineering, foundation pit construction and pipe pile construction have an interactive and coordinated relationship. To ensure that foundation pit construction and pipe pile construction proceed smoothly, construction personnel must comprehensively consider factors such as geology, the characteristics of the foundation pit, and earthwork excavation and transport, and, on the basis of technical coordination, comprehensively control construction loads and progress to ensure the progress of earth excavation and the quality of the pile foundation. If the construction party simply pursues project progress, it is likely to cause quality problems such as pile inclination, fracture, and displacement, and these quality problems will in turn affect the construction period and actually prolong it. This paper explains the relationship between foundation pit construction and pipe pile construction in soft soil foundation engineering and proposes relevant solutions to commonly occurring quality problems, with the aim of providing construction personnel with some reference in future practical work.
