Analysis of the Application of Prestressed Concrete Pipe Pile Construction Technology in Water Conservancy Construction

With the continuous development of the social economy, China's water conservancy engineering construction has achieved unprecedented development. At present, prestressed pipe piles are widely used in water conservancy engineering construction due to their advantages of low cost, stable quality, and the ability to bear large loads. Based on years of practical experience, the author of this paper briefly describes the construction technology of prestressed pipe piles for reference only.

Application of Prestressed Concrete Pipe Piles in the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Railway

Prestressed concrete piles have been widely used in engineering construction in recent years. Composite foundations with prestressed concrete pipe piles can effectively improve the stress state of foundation soil and increase the bearing capacity of the foundation. Based on the application of prestressed concrete pipe piles in the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Railway, this paper describes in detail their construction technology and the results achieved, providing a reference for engineering design, construction, and management personnel.

Management and Application of Vibro-Replacement Stone Columns in Foundation Reinforcement

The transportation industry is a driving force behind China's economic development, and actively improving existing transportation facilities is closely tied to the rapid development of regional economies. In actual construction practice, transportation projects frequently encounter various unfavorable geological conditions and special soils, which disrupt the normal implementation of on-site construction plans and increase the difficulty of ground construction operations. To accelerate project progress, priority should be given to addressing the risks and defects associated with special foundation structures. Taking the subgrade section of the Ganjiapu Shenxin Railway Dedicated Line in Xinjiang as a case study, this paper analyzes the application and management measures of vibro-replacement stone columns in the reinforcement of special foundations.

Issues to Be Noted During the Construction of Jacked-in Pipe Piles

In recent years, jacked-in pipe pile technology has been rapidly promoted and applied in China due to its advantages of being pollution-free and vibration-free, high single-pile bearing capacity, and low cost. At the same time, the technical problems arising during the application of jacked-in pipe piles and their impact on the surrounding environment have attracted considerable attention from construction personnel. In this regard, this paper discusses the technical issues in the construction process of jacked-in pipe piles, analyzes their impact on the surrounding environment, and finally proposes preventive and control measures to be adopted during construction, with the aim of better guiding jacked-in pipe pile construction in engineering practice and providing a reference for similar projects.

Application of Root Canal Posts in Preventing Cervical Transverse Fracture of Premolars with Severe Wedge-Shaped Defects

Objective: To observe the effect of root canal posts in preventing cervical transverse fracture in premolars with severe wedge-shaped defects. Methods: Thirty-five cases of premolars with severe wedge-shaped defects accompanied by varying degrees of pulpal and periapical lesions were selected, and all were treated with root canal therapy, root canal posts, and permanent filling. Results: With follow-up visits on schedule, no patient experienced cervical transverse fracture. Conclusion: Root canal posts have a definite effect in preventing transverse fracture after treatment of premolars with severe wedge-shaped defects.

This paper mainly explains that prestressed high-strength concrete (PHC) pipe piles have been widely used in various engineering projects, but at the same time some problems have also arisen in their practical engineering application. Research on Soil Squeezing Effect of Jacked Pipe Piles and Its Control Measures

During pile driving, jacked pipe piles generate a soil squeezing effect that adversely affects the surrounding environment and may, in severe cases, cause cracking of nearby buildings, heaving of roads, and rupture of underground pipelines. Therefore, appropriate measures should be taken during construction to reduce the occurrence of the soil squeezing effect. Research on the soil squeezing effect is thus also of great significance to engineering practice.
