Discussion on the Relationship Between the Characteristic Value of Compressive Bearing Capacity and the Final Pressure of Static-Pressed Pipe Piles

Taking the Kaifeng Donghui Mingcheng development project as a case study, static load tests were conducted. Based on construction records and the Q-S curves from the test results, the mathematical relationship between the characteristic value of single-pile bearing capacity and the final pressure is explained. Combined with the theoretical calculation of the characteristic value of single-pile bearing capacity and the maximum allowable clamping pressure of pipe pile materials, this provides theoretical support for the design and construction of pipe piles with sand layers as the bearing stratum in Kaifeng and the Yellow River alluvial plain region.

This paper introduces the construction technology of static-pressed concrete pipe piles, the main problems encountered during construction and their treatment methods. By comparing it with bored cast-in-place pile construction, it points out the advantages of using static-pressed concrete pipe piles in the foundation engineering of high-rise buildings in cities, namely lower investment, shorter construction period, significantly reduced environmental pollution, and easier assurance of engineering quality.

Research on Prevention and Treatment of Inclination and Fracture Accidents of Pipe Piles in Soft Soil Foundations

Based on engineering case studies, the causes of inclination accidents in prestressed pipe piles were analyzed, and preventive measures to avoid inclination and fracture of pipe piles during deep foundation pit earthwork excavation were proposed. Depending on the degree of inclination damage to the pipe piles, treatment methods of pile supplementation and deviation correction with core grouting were respectively adopted. Testing results after treatment show that the above multi-scheme treatment methods meet the design requirements and can reduce accident treatment costs.
