Application of Acoustic Logging Tubes in Sonic Transmission Testing of Foundation Piles
With the rapid development of railway infrastructure construction in China, bored cast-in-place piles have been widely used in railway construction due to their adaptability to various geological conditions, simple and easy construction, and relatively low equipment investment. Since the quality of bored piles is affected by many factors such as geological conditions, pile-forming technology, mechanical equipment, construction personnel, and management level, quality defects such as mud inclusions, fractures, necking, concrete segregation, thick sediment at the pile bottom, and poor concrete compactness at the pile top are prone to occur, endangering the normal use and safety of the main structure and even causing engineering quality accidents.
