With the rapid development of society, urban construction land is becoming increasingly scarce. To solve the problem of land factors constraining economic development, coastal regions have begun large-scale land reclamation. Since reclaimed land is artificial ground, PHC pipe piles and bored pressure-grouted pile foundations are commonly adopted. In order to obtain the construction feasibility, bearing capacity, and selection of bearing strata for PHC pile and bored pressure-grouted pile treatment schemes, provide a basis for optimal foundation design and large-scale construction, and supply highly valuable data for construction drawing design, static load tests of PHC pipe piles and bored pressure-grouted piles were conducted in the reclamation area.

Brief Discussion on Construction Management of Waterproof Curtain and Support Piles in Deep Foundation Pits

A certain deep foundation pit project adopted a retaining system consisting of bored cast-in-place piles combined with triaxial cement-soil mixing piles to support a 4 m height difference at the foundation. The filling coefficient was determined based on the site soil conditions, guiding offsets were applied to the positioning of the retaining system, and measures such as strengthening construction management were taken. The construction results showed that the design and code requirements were met.

Application Analysis of Absorbable Root Canal Posts in Primary Tooth Trauma and Residual Crowns of Primary Teeth

Objective: To study the efficacy of absorbable root canal posts (using polylactic acid root canal posts as an example) in the treatment of primary tooth trauma and residual crowns in children. Methods: A total of 50 children with 90 affected teeth treated at the pediatric dentistry clinic of the author's hospital from March 2011 to March 2012 were selected as study subjects. The affected teeth were basically traumatized primary upper and lower anterior teeth or residual crowns, among which trauma to the primary upper central incisors was most common. All affected teeth received effective and complete root canal therapy, and polylactic acid root canal posts were used to fabricate post-and-core restorations. All children were followed up to track the restoration outcomes. Results: During 1-2 years of follow-up, no root fractures were observed. Among them, 88 affected teeth had restorations with well-adapted margins, no signs of loosening, and no dislodgement or secondary caries were found; the periodontal condition was very healthy.
