A Brief Discussion on the Service Life of Construction Machinery

With the rapid development of China's infrastructure construction, various types of construction machinery have been widely used in engineering projects. The continuous improvement of mechanization levels has greatly enhanced construction progress and quality. However, due to differences in design levels, manufacturing quality, operating environments, and the maintenance techniques and management levels of user organizations, the service life of identical equipment can vary considerably, which restricts the performance of construction machinery. Only by mastering the necessary measures to reasonably extend machinery service life and improving management levels to ensure the normal service life of construction machinery can maximum economic benefits be achieved at the lowest cost.

The Q690D steel for construction machinery produced by Nangang exhibited unstable impact energy during product development and early production.
