Key Technical Points and Precautions for Foundation Construction in High-Rise Building Projects

The rapid development of the social economy has greatly advanced China's construction engineering sector. The foundation has always been a critical component of construction projects; only by continuously improving the foundation structure in response to building changes can the bearing capacity of the foundation be further enhanced. In the new era, the requirements for foundations are increasingly stringent. Only by ensuring the stability of foundation engineering can construction quality be improved and the bearing capacity requirements of buildings be met. Construction units at all levels are the main entities of engineering projects and must comprehensively improve their technical capabilities on the premise of ensuring quality, so that foundation engineering can maintain long-term and effective functionality. This paper mainly analyzes the key points of each stage of various foundation construction technologies in high-rise buildings, comprehensively controls engineering safety and quality, and further proposes several precautions, so as to improve the quality of foundation construction engineering and ensure construction quality.

Research on Foundation Treatment Technology in Highway Bridge Construction

Experimental Study on the Bearing Capacity of the Foundation of the Head Gate of the Desilting Basin at the Water Intake

The construction of the foundation of the head gate of the desilting basin at the water intake, as well as the analysis of the foundation bearing capacity, must be carried out through standardized experiments in accordance with the provisions of the currently effective national "Code for Soil Tests in Railway Engineering" and "Code for Design of Building Foundations"; this paper conducts analysis and exploration in combination with the experiments on the foundation of the head gate of the desilting basin at the water intake of the first-stage hydropower station of the TP Hydropower Project in Ecuador; the foundation bearing capacity refers to the ability of the foundation to bear loads; the design requirement of this test is that the foundation bearing capacity be greater than or equal to 0.4 MPa, and it is determined using the K30 plate load test; based on the analysis of the experimental data, the supervising engineer agreed to use buried-stone concrete for the foundation filling box.
